Madeline
I offer compassionate, client-centered support to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. With more than 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I believe therapy is a collaborative process grounded in trust, respect, and a nonjudgmental environment.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients recognize unhealthy patterns of thinking and behavior and develop healthier, more constructive ways of coping. I also specialize in Grief Counseling, providing a safe and compassionate space to process loss, navigate the grieving process, and honor the memories of loved ones with dignity.
In addition, I incorporate Sandtray Therapy, a creative, hands-on approach that can help clients explore emotions, experiences, and insights that may be difficult to express through words alone. My training also includes Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, the Gottman Method for couples, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Written Exposure Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. I thoughtfully integrate these approaches based on each client’s unique needs, goals, and strengths.
My approach is collaborative and solution-focused, with an emphasis on helping clients develop greater self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and move toward personal growth and healing.
Coming from a multiracial and multiethnic background, I value cultural understanding and connection. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and am licensed to practice in Florida and New York. If you are ready to take the next step toward healing and growth, I would be honored to support you on your journey.
